Accu trains youth, women, and grassroots csos on mainstreaming accountability and using ict in programming

In January 2025, ACCU trained 25 youth, women, and grassroots CSOs from Kampala Metropolitan, Busoga, and West Nile sub-regions. These were equipped with knowledge and practical skills in accountability programming, strategic advocacy, policy analysis, and the use of ICT to strengthen transparency and citizen engagement.

Participants designed concrete, context-specific practical plans to integrate accountability and ICT tools into their ongoing work.

The training was delivered under ACCU’s SYCEG project, with support from the United Nations Democracy Fund.
